Use better pins. You need a pin that isnt reusable, it locks in there. You can pop it back out, but they arent meant to be pressed out and back in

Probably. Many pad sets have a little that overhangs, esp with mismatched rotor.caliper brands. I ran some with only half pad contact for a few days to get by before. Its fine.
